Medical Project in Eastern Tibet
Yongdzin Lopön
Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche:
„Please
support the provision of Tibetan Medicine for the Tibetan population in
East Tibet.
In Tibet, in the past, medicine was
provided to those in need. This
is not the case any more.
Medicine is very expensive
nowadays and because the locals
have no income it is a great problem.
Many die
young, women too (die) during delivery. This is very painful.

The local government was planning the constructionof a traditional Tibetan medical school, did however lack the necessary means. For the local people it would be an enormous blessing to have a medicine centre, where medicine is manufactured and where the population is treated free of charge.

After many discussions we have received permission to built a medicine centre, where 20 students will receive a four year training.
I ask you kindly to support me in the provision of Tibetan medicine in the various areas of Amdo. The people suffer greatly.”
